Visual walkthrough for managers and shop staff — setup, camera permissions, and scanning on iPhone, iPad, and Android.

Open the scanner in Safari or Chrome, enter your PIN, allow the camera, and validate vouchers in seconds.
Quick start — shop staff
Five steps from opening the scanner to your first validation.
Scanner Access

Open ScannerOpen the scanner
On the shop phone or tablet, scan the QR code from the campaign page, or tap Open Scanner. Bookmark it or add to your home screen for daily use.
Staff Access
Enter terminal PIN
Enter your PIN
Type the 4–6 digit PIN your manager assigned to this till or branch. Tap Unlock Scanner. The device remembers the PIN until you tap Change Terminal.
Allow camera access
When the browser asks, tap Allow. Without camera permission the scanner cannot read QR codes — see the camera sections below if you miss this step.

Scan the customer’s QR
Hold the customer’s voucher steady inside the red frame. Good lighting and a clean lens help. The rear camera is used automatically on most phones.

Confirm & next customer
You’ll see a green confirmation (or a reward message on loyalty cards). Tap Scan another? and repeat. Keep the tab open during service.
Manager setup (before first scan)
Campaign must be paid. Each till gets its own PIN tied to staff and branch.

Add team & branches
In Account settings, add staff names and shop locations so redemptions are tracked correctly.

Single-use voucher
One successful scan marks the voucher complete. A second scan shows an error.
Loyalty / multi-punch
Each visit adds a punch. At the target, staff give the reward and a new cycle begins until the campaign ends.
Camera permission by device
Tap Allow when prompted. If you tapped Don’t Allow, follow the steps for your device.
iPhone & iPad — Safari
Recommended on Apple devices
Tap Allow on the popup after entering your PIN.
Settings → Safari → Camera
If blocked: Settings → Safari → Camera → Allow, then reload.
iPhone & iPad — Chrome
Allow when Chrome asks on first scan.
Settings → Chrome
Settings → Chrome → Camera → Allow, reload scanner.
Android — Chrome
Choose Allow while visiting the site.
🔒 Site permissions
Tap lock icon in address bar → Permissions → Camera → Allow.
Other browsers (Samsung Internet, Firefox, Edge) work the same way. The site must use HTTPS — cameras are blocked on insecure links.

Troubleshooting
Black camera / won’t start
Fix camera permission above. Close other camera apps. Reload page. Use manual VM-XXXX entry as fallback.
Access denied / wrong PIN
Use the PIN for this campaign. Check it wasn’t revoked. Tap Change Terminal and re-enter carefully.
Already redeemed / expired
Single-use vouchers scan once only. If the campaign ended, the owner may need to extend it from the dashboard.
Scans but nothing happens
Hold steady in frame for 1 second. Improve lighting. Check internet connection. Try manual code entry.
Security reminder
Keep PINs private. Revoke lost devices from the campaign page.
