Quick answers to common questions about creating and running voucher campaigns.
How do I create a campaign?
From your dashboard, click Create New Campaign. Set your campaign duration, voucher quantity, and whether each voucher is a single scan or a multi-punch loyalty card. Choose digital or print delivery, select your size, then design in our tool or upload your artwork. Your price is calculated automatically before checkout.
Is there a monthly subscription?
No. Vouchermaker is pay-as-you-go. You are charged based on your campaign duration, voucher quantity, and delivery method. When your campaign ends, there is nothing further to pay.
How do staff validate vouchers?
No app download is required. Add locations and staff in your account, assign each terminal a PIN, and staff can scan vouchers from any mobile browser. Redemptions and loyalty punches are recorded in real time on your campaign dashboard.
See the full Scanner & validation guide for camera permissions on iPhone, Android, and iPad, plus step-by-step setup for staff.
What is the difference between single-use and loyalty vouchers?
Single-use vouchers are redeemed once and marked complete. Multi-punch loyalty vouchers track punches until the required number is reached — for example, buy 9 coffees and get the 10th free.
How does print delivery work?
After generating your print artwork, use Send to Printer from your campaign page and enter your delivery address. We print in-house and deliver to your location, typically within 3–5 working days. Use the digital proof option to review your layout before sending to production.
What are the correct artwork dimensions for print?
For print campaigns, set your document in millimetres using the trim size plus 6mm bleed (3mm on each edge), then export at 300 DPI as JPG or PNG.
Example: an 85 × 55mm business card needs a 91 × 61mm artwork file. At 300 DPI that equals approximately 1075 × 720 pixels in landscape.
The system validates the pixel dimensions of your exported file. Print uploads allow a tolerance of ±4 pixels per dimension to account for rounding when exporting from design software. If your mm size is correct but the exported pixels are more than 4px off, the upload may still be rejected.
Digital vouchers are stricter — pixel dimensions must match exactly with no tolerance. Even 1 pixel difference will be rejected.
See the full size tables in our Design Guide, or check the dimensions shown in the create-campaign flow for your selected size.
Where can I find artwork specifications?
See our full Design Guide for file formats, bleed diagrams, and exact mm and pixel size tables for every voucher format in the system.
